PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE BOOKING.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
From Monday 9th August 2021:
The Story Tent Flintshire classes must be booked in termly blocks and full payment must be paid at the time of booking unless you are booking a trial, one off or special Story Tent event.
Story Tents will always be accessible throughout our sessions, however in some venues and depending on class numbers, there may not always be a tent available for every child. In this circumstance, a small number of story tents will be available for participants to access during the independent play part of the session.
The Story Tents are props and can be pulled over if misused. Parents are responsible for supervising their children at all times throughout a Story Tent session.
No refunds are available in the case of missed sessions or cancellations due to being unable to attend. Spaces are not transferable to other sessions.
Face coverings are optional throughout the session.
Parents and carers are responsible for their own children and their behaviour throughout the entire session. The Story Tent Flintshire cannot accept any such responsibility.
Under no circumstance will The Story Tent Flintshire take responsibility for loss or damages to personal possessions during a messy play session.
Those in charge of the child/children are under no circumstances allowed to leave the building without taking the child/children within their care with them.
Attending adults are responsible for the safety of their child/children during each session. This includes the use of all materials and equipment and to ensure that you and your child/children behave in a way to not cause injury to other children or adults.
We want to ensure you and your little ones are happy and safe at Story Tent classes. We therefore ask that the children do not run during classes.
If your child does have an accident during a session, please inform the class leader who can assist you and provide a first aid kit.
The Story Tent Flintshire reserves the right to require anyone, child or adult, to leave if their behaviour is likely to threaten the safety or enjoyment of others.
We recommend that children wear clothing appropriate for messy play as The Story Tent Flintshire will not be liable for any stains or marks on children’s clothes.
Please do not attend the session with your child if they are ill and risk infecting other children. As an example, where a child has suffered from sickness and diarrhea it is advised to avoid group activities for 48 hours.
It is the responsibility of the parent/carer to ensure the child/children do not interact with any material/food substance that may cause an allergic reaction to their child/children. (The packaging of food products are available on request if the parents are unsure of the ingredients). Please note, these may not be avaliable during sessions but can be requested prior/post session.
We make every effort to provide items that are ‘taste safe’. We advise that all materials provided including foodstuffs are not to be consumed by the babies/toddlers as some products (despite being edible) may present a choking hazard. We do not accept any responsibility whatsoever for any accident, allergic reaction or illness found to be directly attributed to any product or item provided. It remains the responsibility of the parent/carer in attendance for supervising the children they are accompanying.
Photographs and videos are permitted in class but please only take photographs of your own children.
Several props are used by leaders and children during a Story Tent session. Parents are responsible for supervising the use of these props by their children and those in their care.
